25 species of Aleurodicus
have one cephalic & six abdominal compound pores. They are further separated by several traits
including but not limited to length of the lingula, the shape of the last two
compound pores (slightly to greatly reduced) on segments VII and VIII, the
number of submedian pairs of cephalothoracic setae (from 2 to 4 pairs), the
absence or presence of double-rimmed pores.
